Candy bars, cakes, ice cream, milk shakes and chocolate are the things that our sweet tooth crave for.But chocolate is the most famous sweet desserts. Many people have been fascinated with this delicious dessert for thousands of years. But before you start over indulging on this treat, you should be aware of it’s benefits. There are many types of chocolates such as a milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate etc. Some say that chocolate can cause acne some say that by eating chocolate you gain weight or you become fat. But don’t you know that the best type of chocolate that has good benefit for you is dark chocolate. It is loaded with nutrients that can positively affect your health.

Studies show that dark chocolate but not the sugary type, can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease. Dark chocolate is healthier because it has less added sugar compared to the other types of chocolate. Maybe that is the reason why some people also find it hard to take because dark chocolates are not that sweet. There was I time that I'm eating dark chocolate and I offer some to my friend, but she refused because she said that she doesn't like the taste of it. Many prefers the other types of chocolates like milk chocolate instead of dark chocolates. They didn't knew that this kind of chocolate have also a significant beauty benefits. It helps combat beauty’s public enemy number one: Stress. Cocoa helps reduce stress hormones, which means less collagen breakdown in the skin, and fewer wrinkles.

You can satisfy your cravings for chocolate without blowing your diet. You just have to stick to healthy chocolate with at least 70 percent cacao (or cocoa, which is cacao in its roasted, ground form). As long as the content is that high, says Mary Engler, Ph.D., a professor of physiological nursing at the University of California at San Francisco, you can reap the benefits from eating only small amounts. Because of its high fat and sugar content, limit yourself to 7 ounces, or about four dark chocolate bars, a week.

Eating chocolate is one of my hobbies,it's my favorite snack. But I avoid eating dark chocolate before going to bed.Because it is a sneaky source of caffeine, which is known to perk you up. Almost all chocolate contains some level of caffeine and on top of that, it's loaded with stimulants like theobromine, which is known to make your heart race a little bit. One night I discovered that it's true. Because when I was about to sleep my sister offered me a dark chocolate, I just took a bit then returned to my bed to sleep. But I'm not sleepy anymore, I couldn't sleep I feel so hyper. So if you're aiming for a good night sleep,do avoid eating dark chocolates.

I found comfort in eating chocolate. I always keep stock of it to make sure that I can take a bite whenever my taste buds long for satisfaction. But we must bear in mind that too much of anything is bad, let's snack smart.
